As part of an initiative to develop links with other services, we are pleased to announce two new partnerships:

The Lantern Family Centre for Parenthood, Families and Children offers training and consultation to professionals and parents, and therapeutic work for families and children. They are a multi-disciplinary team aiming to develop a service that will meet the needs of families and professionals in the area.
The Lantern Family Centre aim to offer training courses that provide skills, techniques and emotional understanding to support parents as their children grow up through infancy, childhood and adolescence. They also offer professional training and therapeutic services for children and families who are going through difficult times and need expert professional help.

RASASC (the Guildford Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre) aim to relieve the distress of people who have suffered sexual assault and to educate the public about the problems of sexual abuse. They provide confidential and caring services to anyone (male or femaile) whose life has been affected by sexual violence, whether recently or long ago, in Surrey and beyond. They are developing a School Sub-Committee to educate young people about the problems of sexual abuse, potential dangers and where to seek help if necessary.
